Juvenile Justice Training Center
In 1993, the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice and Eastern Kentucky University formed a partnership that created the Juvenile Justice Training Center. The JJTC is one of the several grants that make up EKU's Training Resource Center. During the 20+ years of this agreement, JJTC has provided support services for DJJ training, youth worker academies, summits and symposiums across the state, as well as 2 national conferences. JJTC services include event coordination, vendor negotiations, records and fiscal management, consultant contracts, online course development and cost center reporting.
